· RUDY LOEWE (UK)
A collection of recent works created by artist Rudy Loewe touching on a number of themes such as racism, mental health, sexuality and detention centres. The exhibition contains images from Loewe’s new book Moving Through Borders, which will be available for purchase.

Queer muslim photography project that documents the experiences of queer Muslims around the world.

· Diaspora/Situations _ by TAREK LAKHRISSI (FR)
Series of short portraits of people of color reflecting on how their relationship to the diaspora impacts their lives.

LEILA GLOVERT (FR)
Leila identifies herself as a noirabe femme, black feminist, Muslim feminist, decolonial feminist and queer muslim. Born and raised in Paris but not feeling French in any type of form or fashion.
She had been an activist fighting racism and islamophobia for 15 years.
As a queer muslim she also fights against queerphobia.
Today she feels unapologetic about who she is as a noirabe queer Muslim femme in France and everywhere.

RUDY LOEWE (UK)
Rudy Loewe’s practice includes drawing comics, illustrations, zines and prints. These mediums are befitting to their work as they allow for greater visibility to a wider audience.
Their intention is to take complex ideas and narratives, drawing them out into more accessible and digestible formats. Using comedy and satire Rudy’s work subverts dominant power structures and starts difficult conversations around intersectionality.
Racism; gender; sexuality; disability and mental health are all key themes within Rudy’s practice. They use a variety of mediums throughout and recurring motifs to explore family history, black history, Diaspora and trauma.
Rudy’s work aims to engage those who consider themselves outside of the art world in art practice. Community is an integral part of Rudy Loewe’s work.

SAMRA HABIB (CA)
Samra Habib is a multimedia journalist and a visual activist. She left Pakistan at the age of 10 and moved to Canada with her family as a refugee. Her writing and art often look at Islam through a queer lens. Her project entitled Just me and Allah documents the experiences of queer Muslims around the world. Her project has garnered praise by media outlets around the world including the BBC, the Guardian, PBS, Vanity Fair Italia, Washington Post, Art magazine, i-D and Vice. She has exhibited her work in Brooklyn, Toronto and Berlin. As a journalist, her work has been featured in the Guardian, the New York Times, Vice and Public Radio International.

SISTER JUSTIVE (SE)
Those who have heard Sister Justice know that she’s always one to spread and sweet vibes. A selectress who started as a resident dj at Stockholm’s legendary reggae club Mama Africa, Sister Justice is also 1/4 of the dj-crew Sugarcane. The crew were nominated as “DJ of the year” 2015 and have for several years been prominent players on the Swedish urban nightlife scene. Together with Sugarcane, Sister Justice has warmed up for international acts such as Spice, Tarrus Riley, Timaya, Youssou N’Dour, Popcaan, and Kid Ink to name a few. Besides gigs at different nightclubs across the country, Sister Justice has also played at Festivals, _ and held dj-workshops. She is prominently known for playing Dancehall, Afrobeats, R’n’B and Reggae.

TAREK LAKHRISSI (FR)
Tarek Lakhrissi is a bookseller and a writer. Now graduate in MA from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, he did an international exchange at University of Montreal, completing a Master’s degree in Art History/Theatre Studies. His research subject was about intersectionality, disidentification and performance art through Adrian Piper and Darkmatter’s work. His main works and interests are focused on cultural identities, postcolonial theories related to pop culture. He recently started a video project « diaspora/situations » about interviews with artist of color relecting on the impact of diasporas on their bodies.
