Poema Jones, an Amsterdam based visual artist and accessory designer, is a modern-day renaissance woman who has proven to be a source of influence as it relates to Afro Arts & Culture, her love for her roots and her need to tell her own narratives and that of Afro people. She will paint a mural at Skylten during two days to tag the place, making visible the afro perspectives that will occupy this space during 5 months. With her work she aims to not only celebrate afro arts but hopes to help shape and add to this culture in a positive way while challenging existing stereotypes. Come and meet her !

Bee Nasser is an art/culture project producer from Stockholm who will bring her perspectives on space, production and afro art. The guests will share their reflections on their own experiences and art projects.

Her mixes are bursting with energy and love. Half-Nigerian, half-Belgian, she will just be back from her second stay in Nigeria in 30 years, an intense story. She will also share her critical view on the mental health system and explain how music is the sun of her life during the talk that will take place before her performance. You better come to bounce on the shit straight outta Brussels instead of just reading about it!
